At the end of four the score was 9 to 2 for Udora.Port bounced back with seven runs but couldn't hold Udota. Dennis Franssen had an excellent game*with a home run and a grand slam! Mike Doupe also had a home run. Tony Oxley played a steady game. ' . Uxbridge visited Port on Thursday night. was well-played until the fifth inning when errors occurred. Bob Ireland played well with a triple; double, single and a walk. Final score: 15 to 8 for Uxbridge. Port's first competitor in the third annual Midget Tournament was Willow- dale. Dave Dickson scored the only Port run on an error. The final score was 9 to 1 for Willowdale. _ Saturday the Lumbermen Soccer Continued . Squirt: Irvine Construction Orange Bombers and the Williamson Motors Red Barons played their hearts = - out last - Thursday on St Johns playing fields in Ux- bridge. The game resulted in a tie. During the first half Bomber David Irvine scored a beautiful goal on a break- away. Then the Red Barons tied up the score 1 to 1. In the second 25 minutes of play the Red Barons scored again, quickly followed up with another goal by Bomber David Irvine, assisted by Joey Jackman.
