I also understand that a few are planning to journey to Wingham in Huron County this week to attend the Inter- national Plowing Match. On Tuesday of last week the Mothers Auxiliary from the Greenbank Cubs and Scouts held their fashion show in the United Church Auditorium in Port Perry. The show was well attended by the Seagrave ladies and we certainly all enjoyed it. Thanks girls for your work in organizing this event. The Seagrave Church An- niversary was held on Sun- day with the Rev. Chas Clarke as Guest Minister. Rev. Clarke gave a very inspiring service as well as hearing some lovely melodies rendered by Mrs. Porter of Oakwood and from the choir. Seagrave U.C.W. Ladies Unit I have some very at- tractive church Plates for sale. If you wish to purchase one please contact Mrs. I. Keene or Mrs. G. Wana- maker. Please make a note of Wednesday evening, October 4th at 5:30 p.m. when the Seagrave U.C.W. are plan- ning a Harvest Fest Pot Luck Supper. Each family is asked to bring something for main course and a dessert. The price has been set at $2.00 for each adult and children under 12 years $1. Lets make it a success and help support these ladies. Word also has it that the big roasting pans will soon have to be dusted off for the annual Turkey Supper the first Wednesday in Novem- ber. More details will be available in a couple of weeks. The Birthday Box this week was post-poned to next weeks Church Service. On Friday they attended the Penny Sale is Bowmanville and then called on their brother-in-law, Mr. Donald Boe who has been under the weather for sometime.
