Sympathy to the family of the late Mr. Chester Holley who passed away recently. Mrs. Bessie MacCannell, Jewel Dawn Fellitti and Ryan have been spending the past few days with Mrs. Chester-Holley at Markdale. Happy Birthday to Master Ryan Fellitti who had his third birthday on Sept. 21st. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Gerrow spent Sunday even- ing with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Brown: Sympathy also goes to Dennis-and his family in the recent passing of grand- father Mr. Graydon Taylor of Oshawa. ; Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Bailey visited with Mrs. Ethel Kidd at Goodwood on Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Dora Geer accompan- ied the Port Perry Senior Citizens on a tour of Halibur- ton and spent a week at Deer Lodge on Lake Kashagawig- amog and also toured the lakes on the tour boat. Sunday Mrs. Mr. and Mrs. George Harper and Mrs. Delia Harper had Sunday supper with Mr. and Mrs. Mike Schofield and family at Taunton. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Beare of Mississauga visited with Mrs. Crosier on Sunday. Mr, and Mrs. Roy Sutcliffe, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Sutcliffe and famiy attended a family reunion on Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Bray at Raglan, There were cousins present from Boyle, Michigan. OnTuesday last, Mrs. Mildred Thompson attended the funeral of the late Mrs. Beatrice Rose at Holt Church and later had super with Mrs. Jim Miller at Mount Albert. On Friday evening Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Cleveland and John of Mount Albert visited with Mrs. Thompson.- On Saturday, Mrs. Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Goslin and Mrs. Phyllis Clarke had supper with Mrs. Lena May at Port Hope and later attended the 90th birthday party for Mr. Lewis Osland at Canton. On Thompson attended anniversary service at Siloam. Mr. and Mrs. Muray Kirton of Mount Albert were supper guests. The "Fat Albert Club" of C.B.ers held a dance in the Hall on Saturday evening. Mrs. Vera Taylor, accom- panied by Mr. and Mrs: Johnston of England and Mr. and Mrs. Bielby of Cedar Grove, have just returned from a two week motor trip to-the east coast and New England states. They had a very enjoyble trip and report that the leaves in New England are at their best. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Diamond were surprise guests at a 40th Wedding Anniversary celebration, held in their honour, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Diamond in Oshawa. The party was given by their son « Robert and Pat on Saturday, Sept. 23rd, 1978. Guests attending the celebration were; Ross Diamond and family from Scarborough, Vera and Bruce Diamond from Pickering, Minnie and Paul Diamond Greenbank, Irene and Gordon Clark from Keswick, Ralph and Barbara Clark from Toronto, Beth and Fred Clarke from Toron- to, Ernest McCully and fam- ily from East York, Mr. and Mrs. Andrews from Scar- borough.
