The comedy concerns a widower Samuel Jones and widow Laura Curtis (played by Ed Daigle and Emmie Cox) who plan to "live together' without the benefit of marriage. Their children, relatives and friends do not think it is proper and try to encourage them to "tie the knot' and get married. The humourous action packed comedy will be presented three evenings at Town Hall 1873, Thursday, Fr RY rl VF HER TS nay hl Hh i 1H) on AA Lye RANE TR I February 22, 23, and 24. The play was written by Henry Denker and is being directed 'by Dave Ellis of Blackstock. The characters in the comedy are played by Ed Daigle, Emmie Cox, Irma Lewis, Terry Hodgins, Maurice Burgess, Carol Harris, Ed Canning and Leslie Forder. Utica area news by Vera Brown Church service on Sunday, February 18th will be in Utica Church at 11:30 a.m. Confirmation classes will be starting at the end of Feb- ruary for those wishing to join the Church. Sunday School commences at 10:00-a.m. each Sunday. The Youth Group will be having a togoggan party on Thursday afternoon. Epsom-Utica Couples Club will be holding their first get-together on Saturday evening February 24th at 8 p.m. in Epsom Church. All couples are invited to attend "and spend an evening of games etc. and each couple are asked to supply a bit of " lunch. Come on out a week 'Committee would like from Saturday and meet your neighbours. \ This Friday at 8 p.m. there will be a euchre in the Hall. For several years now, the Cubs and Scouts have been selling garden seeds to raise money. This year they have decided against this project but would like to express their appreciation to all those who have bought seeds from them in the past. Congratulations to Lee Wilbur and his hockey team the Port Perry Atom All- Stars, who were at the Keene tournament on Saturday and came out the "Champions". Mrs. Eric Carre was in Toronto on Thursday, having lunch with Mrs. Jan Carre, then visiting Mrs. Jack Hinchcliffe in her kindergar- ten classroom at Bowmore Rd. Public School. Eric joined them for dinner and they went to watch their nephew David Hinchcliffe play hockey with his Atom family. Mrs. Mildred Thompson called on her mother Mrs. Jim Miller at Mount Albert on Sunday. Mr. Baker has been a little under the weather this past week with a slight touch of pneumonia but is well on his way to recovery. Sunday dinner guests with Mr. and Mrs. Murray Geer were Mr. and Mrs. Bob Slack and family and Mr. and Mrs. Doug Geer and family. Mr. and Mrs. Terry Craw- ford and family of Green- bank were Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Pete Sutcliffe and family. Mrs. Roy Sutcliffe along with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Miller and Miss Michele 'Brockman are vacationing in Florida this week. I am pleased to report that Rev.
