This was the sixth game in a play off series and Uxbridge won the series eight points to three. The Legionaires are finished now for the 1978-79 season except for exhibition games and tournaments. They are entered in three tournaments in March and -now will start some practis- ing to get ready for them. Special mention should be given to Number 6 for the Legionaires, Jeff Cox. This boys saw limited ice time since joining the Legionaires early in December. - Jeff really had two excellent games and helped the team a great deal when we were ~ down so many players due to Wednesday night saw the Legionaires in exhibition play against Oshawa Central Sports Black Hawks. This ended in a 2-2 draw but the Legionaires did not look sharp. Scoring for the Legionaires were Steven Lee unassisted at 2:15 of the first period and also Steven Lee scored at 10:10 of the third period assisted by Jeff Johnstone. Saturday the Legionaires travelled to the Oshawa Civic Auditorium to play an exhibition game with the LNHL team. The Legion- aires played exceptional hockey and came out on top 4-1. In the three games played so far against Bowmanville, the MoJacks have followed a pattern that has become a familiar one since the play- off rounds began three weeks ago. Mojacks look like a power- house on home ice, but they enthusiastic crowd of 750 times threatened to develop into a major war. MoJacks opened an early 1-0 lead at the five minute mark when Rob Greiner took passes from Bill Bridge and Phil Cochrane to beat Eagle goalie Stew Roberts with a wrist shot from 20 feet.
