Uxbridge wins at volleyball by Bethany Schryburt Durham Central Junior Volleyball Tournament for boys and girls was held at Cartwright Central Public School on February 19 and 21. The event was convened by Karen McLean of Lind- say, a teacher at Cartwright. Competition started first thing in the morning and the finals carried on to 6:30. It was a long day for the students, some of them going as many as seven rallies.
