Mini tractor pull * competition keen at Fair Grounds The Port Perry Junior Farmers had a successful day on Sunday when they held their Mini Tractor Pull at the fair grounds in Port Perry. A good crowd was on hand to see everything from garden tractors to super modified tractors pull the weight sled down the track. Don Powell of Oshawa took the honours in both the 1550 and 1750 Ib. modified classes driving a 350 Chev eo powered tractor. Complete list of winners will be in next weeks issue of the Star. G. That's the Green Hornet on its way down the' dust and dirt Sunday afternoon at the Mini Tractor Stirling Moss the legend- ary "uncrowned king" of motor racing will race at Mosport, August 17, 18, 19, on the Molson Canadian Trans- Am Atlantic weekend. Moss, who retired from racing in 1962 following a near-fatal accident, will make a race appearance behind the wheel in a special event for vintage and histor- ic racing cars which will be held between Mosport's twin feature races, the Molson Canadian Trans-Am and the Molson Canadian Atlantic.
