Family Reunion On Sunday the Van Nest family picnic was held at the beautiful home of Gary Van Nest in Toronto. Attending from Nestleton were Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Malcolm, Heath- er and Alison, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Malcolm and Gail, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Mal- Bcolm of Flint Michigan, and Mr. Barry Malcolm of Sim- coe. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Freer Orillia, were Wednesday and overnight guests with Mr. and Mrs. Grant Thompson of Nestleton. Ruth's brother Jim Johnston, Peterborough and Dr. and Mrs. Jack Mar- low from Dundas were also visiting during the week with Ruth and Grant Thompson. Mrs. Ruth Tetman, Toron- to spent a couple of weeks recently with her mother, Mrs. Lawrence Cooledge, Nestleton. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Morris and girls, Seeley's Bay were Tuesday afternoon and overnight guests with Mrs. Cooledge. Mrs. Florence Thompson, Toronto who has' been visit- ing her sister Mrs. Cooledge, - was accompanied by the Morris family to her home on Wednesday. The two sisters Mrs. Cooledge and Mrs. Thompson spent several days visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Les Manley (nee Wanda Cooledge) and Jenni- fer in Peterborough. Pleased to report a mark- ed improvement in Mr. Bruce Heaslips were Mrs. W.G. Bowles, Port Perry, and Mrs. Minnie Fisher, Caesarea. August 10th Bruce and Olive were after- noon and evening guests of nephew Mr. and Mrs. Lionel McKeown and boys of Wood- ville. August 12th, another enjoyable visit when nephew Mr. and Mrs. Norman Irvine Bowmanville were evening dinner guests. August 16th Bruce and Olive invited his room mate from the Nursing Home for dinner at their home in Nestleton. Very Warmest Wishes to Bruce-- keep up the good work! A very happy year is wished to little Rhonda. Denise and Ernie Ward of Toronto have moved to Caes- area recently. Denise is the daughter of Mrs. Irene Train and a sincere welcome to this young couple from the area. We trust they will be happy in their new home. Caesarea Euchre Results of last weeks card party:1st prize-Grant Bright 2nd-Irma Watson, 3rd-Allie Lee. A better attendance this past week. When fall rolls around folks will feel more like an interesting game of Euchre. Keep the date in mind. Deepest sympathy is ex- tended to Mrs. Winnie Davi- son of Nestleton, and her family in the sudden death of her husband Richard. Dick as he was known to all was interested in Church and community and he will be greatly missed by the many friends and neighbours in the village of Nestleton and the surrounding area.
