Heron A very enjoyable ladies meeting was held in the church hall last Wednesday evening with a good attendance. After a few Christmas carols were sung the business for the evening was conducted by Margaret Davis. The guest for the evening, introduced by Ray Death was low. Men - Herman Kerry, Jim Gibson, and Ab Timms was low. Freeze-out winners were Mrs. Campsall and Bill Carnegie with Bruce Houghland and Harry Hill coming in second. In two weeks there will be a special Christmas euychre with extra prizes so plan to attend. Mrs. Mildred Thompson visited her mother Mrs. Miller at Mount Albert Monday and Tuesday last week. On Sunday she enter- was Judy Morgan of Judy's flowers, Whitby who brought some very beautiful dried flower arrangements for us to see. She also did two beautiful arrangements with real flowers while everyone watched with real interest. Mrs. Morgan was sincerly thanked by Muriel Fisher. McEntyre's message was entitled the Book of Hope and the Sr. Choir sang "Glory to God in the Highest." The sanctuary was beauti- fully decorated for Christmas and there were three very lovely poinsettia, which were donated by Miss Martha Burgess and very much appreciated.
