On Thursday, March 5th, twenty-three contractors were in Port Perry to witness the digging of test holes for the proposed sewers. Fire completely destroyed a large barn on Scugog 'Island last Sunday afternoon. The barn was on the farm owned by Orr Jeffrey of Port Perry.
