It's Sadie Hawkins time gals! by Mike Stokes The month of October is here once again and already it seems to be filled with activities from the halls of P.P.H.S. This month's dance a Sadie Hawkins, will be held on Friday, Oct. 24th, so come on girls, get out there and ask that extra special guy out to a night of fun. It seems that Port High is heavily endowed with theatr- "ical talent this year. The theatre department is forg- ing ahead with outstanding turnouts to auditions for the two school plays. Mr. Sims' cast is almost complete for his play, "In the Shadow of the Glen" and Mr. Crocker, who is working on the school's major production "Doctor in the House" had some fifty people audition for parts. The casts should be complete early this week. Good luck to both plays. -- Last Tuesday's Ten for Terry day brought in $241.36 for cancer research in the name of Terry Fox. Thanks to all those who helped to make the day a success. Sports News It appears that P.P.H.S. is team played twice last week on Tuesday and Thursday against Ajax and Henry St. but lost on both counts. Better luck next time fellows. Congratulations are also in order for the P.P.H.S. Golf Team.
