MY CHRISTMAS STORY One Christmas Eve I went to bed at 9 o'clock. I told my mom I would wake up at five. The next morning I woke up and it was 7:05 on my clock. I got up and slipped on my slippers and raced downstairs. I grabbed my stocking and emptied it and right before my eyes was a little puppy. I ran to the kitchen and got my puppy some milk. I looked on the fireplace where I left Santa some cookies and milk and they were gone! By the time 1 looked back at my puppy it had drank all the milk. I got a small doll blanket and wrapped my puppy in it and put it on the couch. A minute later my Mom and Dad came down and I ran to them and yelled 1got a puppy! Igot a puppy! The rest of the day I was thinking of a name and then I thought of a good name Pepi. We played together day by day and we grew up to- gether. by Lori Van Ryswyk C.C.P.S., Grade5 MY CHRISTMAS POEM Christmas is here with laughter and cheer Here those Christmas bells ringing The children are singing Sometimes you have snow- ball fights Oh!
