The excitement of opening gifts and all the special things that go with a party made this 'little girl very happy. Mr, Ken Murphy has re- turned to workman's compensation hospital after being at his home during the holiday. On Easter Sunday the Les Beacock's, Grant of Toronto and Byran, Grant, Judy and Phillip Beacock were guests at the home of Don and Marilyn Beacock and family of Islington were Easter guests at the home of John and Marion Lake and family of Oakwood. Kevin Hodgins spent a week at Banff skiing. On returning home he spent Easter with his parents Eileen. and Terry. Sister Heather was also home from Trent University. My husband and I spent a very nice Easter week-end with our son Ivan and wife Linda at Trout Creek. The John Beacock's of Lindsay were Thursday evening supper guests with Les and Grace Beacock. On Thursday evening-the euchre players gathered at the hall for another night of cards. The winners. Ladies high Effie Ploughman, Ruby Tripp and Myrtle Gimblett. Mens high scores were all ladies. Phyllis Clarke, Myrtle Alsop and Mary Williamson. Lone hand series winners. _ Myrtle Gimblett and Verna Draper tied with twelve.
