Port Perry "contractor to install 'watermain A Port Perry contractor was chosen by Durham Works officials Tuesday to install watermains on three different streets in Port Perry and Prince Albert. Van Camp Contracting Ltd. won the job after sub- mitting the low bid of $43,383, the lowest of five submitted by companies for the work. About 230 metres of water- main will be constructed on Queen Street in Port Perry to provide water to a new home. A similar length will be installed on Barber Street to replace an existing plastic main. About 205 metres of main will be installed on Union Avenue in Prince Albert, a hamlet, southwest of the village, for eight lots. The construction should start and be completed next month, a works official said. ¢] rebuilt unit than to try to fix STEER THIS WAY... If a windshield wiper motor is giving trouble, it's usually a better idea to get a new or the old one. Low headlight output may not be a battery problem - just dirt or grease on -the headlamp. When should you trade in your car? Engine wear is the key. As an engine gets worn, there is excessive clearance between parts that may cause compression pressure to decrease, bringing on per- formance troubles.
