Nestleton Presbyterian Church On Sunday, June 22, Rev. Fred Swann told the children a story about a triangle. God at the top you in one corner and your neighbour in the other corner - should com- plete the Triangle. Scripture read, continuing the series on the Acts of the Apostles. Rev. Swann spoke of early days, and noted that Archae- logy is a most interesting study of life and customs of ancient days. If the Arch- aeologists of those days could view the present day churches, what would their opinion be of the type of religion preached today? The early church stressed Fellowship, co-operation, prayer and bible study and the church was a place of love with a bond joining members together in the love of Jesus Christ. Mrs. Shirley Scott played the organ for the service. Everyone welcome to ser- vice next Sunday at 10 a.m. Notice - Be on the Alert Another bear has been seen in this neck of the woods - towards the north easterly direction of Cartwright Township near Mr. Don Frew's residence, in the neighbourhood of the steep hill to the north west of the property, about 8 a.m., one morning during the past week. It is well for parents to be aware of the danger, espe- cially now in holiday time regarding children playing in wooded areas - perchance - a mother bear might be on the move and have her cubs with her.
