In the baseball tournament Valentia won the champion- ship trophy and the Oakwood Bears won the consolation trophy, also Bud Wylie of the Mariposa team won 'the Bruce Kellington memorial trophy for the most valuable player. In the horseshoes, the singles trophy was won by Mr. A. Geoffrey of Port Perry and the Doubles trophy 'was won by Bill Winfield and Gary Fine of Oshawa. Congratulations to all the winners of the day! After all the exertion of the day a dance was held after- wards and there was still energy left to dance. A good time was had by all. A large representation from our com ty was present at the weekend Art and Craft Show held, in Manvers Arena on Saturday and Sunday. All booth spaces were taken up with a waiting list for vacancies should they arise.
