Be ------ Senior Citizens meet by Marion King The regular meeting of Senior Citizens was held at Latcham Centre on Wednes- day May 27th with a real good attendance, We welcomed two new members Bob and Bernice: Carnegie. Our meeting opened with O'Canada with Ruth Wilson at the piano. Irene Philip read the minutes which were adopted as read. Burnsell Webster gave the treasurer's report. We are going to Cullen Gardens, July 16th at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 28th we are going to Canada's' Wonderland. Mrs. Jane: Baird asked for guides on Fridays for the Museum for June, July and August and a number volunteered. We will be crowning our King and Queen on June 10th, so make a good effort to be out, We had a beautiful pot-¢ luck supper at 5:30 with an abundance of food. This was followed by square dancing, our own Senior Citizens Choir and Touch of Class with Ethel Irvine in charge. ~ Everyone had a real enjoyable evening. Cedar Creek Shawn Larocque had a birthday party last Saturday afternoon. Seven of his classmates helped him celebrate. Mr. and Mrs. John Den Boer visited their daughter, Reta Barnhoorn and family at London last weekend. George Kilpatrick visited Mr. Everard Joll at New- castle on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Rick Larocque and sons spent the weekend at Mr. and Mrs. John Phillip's cottage near Parry Sound. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Cummings were at Orange- ville on Wednesday evening 'and their granddaughter, Connie returned home with them. Mrs. Victor Larocque received word on Sunday that her brother-in-law, Harry Smith of Magnetawan had died.
