On Sunday evening several from Burns congregation attended the first Glen Major evening service for this summer and the Burns mens choir assisted in the Ministry - of Music, The services will continue -at Glen Major every Sunday evening at 7:30 through July and August and labour day week end. Every- one is welcome. Rev. Clifton MacKay of Fenlon Falls will be the visiting minister at Burns church through August while Rev. McEntyre is on holi- days. A belated Happy Birthday to Mrs. Annie Kerry in Port Perry nursing home her family and friends gathered to help her celebrate the special day. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rowe and daughter Penny of Winnipeg, Master Ian Leaper of Mississauga are having holidays with Mr. and Mrs. E. Heron and they all enjoyed a family picnic at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Drew Leaper of Mississauga last Sunday. Miss Hilda Hopkins, Mrs. John Hopkins and Mrs. Aachael Eckout attended the 50th Anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Jones of Glen Majo recently. .
