An outdoor recreation study is being undertaken this summer by the Kawar- tha Region Conservation Authority to find out what locpl residents find most and least attractive about the Kawartha Lakes area. Part of this study is a question- naire which will be sent out to selected residents of Fenelon Falls, Lindsay and Scugog Townships. Of the many outdoor activities pursued in the region, eight have been chosen for detailed study to give an idea of areas where the Authority may become involved. Summer activities being looked at are swimming, boating and picnicking along with hiking, fishing and hunting. Snow- mobiling and cross-country skiiing have been selected as winter activities for the study.
