Printing Devils and 5 Comco Comets) fielded a team of thirteen scrappy and determined Soccer players and won the annual Stouff- ville Pee Wee title in the Select Division. Entrants included teams from Richmond Hill, Markham, Stouffville, Mississauga, etc., and we were considered to be long shots to win. It's difficult to describe or for you to imagine the intensity our boys displayed to emerge the overall winner defeating Stouffville in the final game 3-2. Champions they are for they learned tenacity and harmony with each other to form the formidable team they are. Allowing only two goals against in the entire tourny and filling the nets with 16 goals, they were to say the least, magnificent. Goal scorers for the Eagles were Jerry Fowler (8), Darryl Mussleman, Carl Baylis 3 each, Tim Cannon (1) and Bob Lamb scoring the ultimate winner in the final game. Preventing goals and setting up plays was the responsibility of Mike Woud, Martin Shepherd, Sean Fisher, Randy Lawrence, Tom Fowler, Mike Flukes, Paul Carr and Goaltender, Wayne Buller. The victory moved Uxbridge into the league finals, against the Greenhank "Wes Southern Excavation" Gamblers.
