The first period opened up with two brilliant saves being made by Port goal tender Noel Lovering, but at 3:18 Drae Glover' of Stouff- ville assisted by Brad Black- -op picked the corner to start their team off to their victory. Stouffville scored 1gain with the goal going to Jason Underwood assisted Larocque. Drae Glover of Stouffville picked up his hat trick with a breakaway at the 4:24 mark. With only twenty 'seconds between the final goals, Dayle Lewis assisted by Jason White- bread scored the last two goals of the game. . The only penalty handed 'out in the game went to Dy Jay Schaife. Then Port challenged back with two ittempts by Michael feasby, both just missing heir mark. Stouffville scored again in the first seriod with the credit going o Jeff Cowley assisted by Jrae Glover. The Auctioneers changed goalies in the second period to Shawn Larocque who made some good saves. Goalie Danny Wilson of Stouffville had his hands full when Jason Towns of Port let a shot go on net and then Chris Forder plugged another one at him only minutes later. With only 34 seconds left in the second period Drae Glover of Stouff- ville put the puck through the legs of Port's goaltender-to make the score 4-0. Despite the high score on this game, the Auctioneers skated hard throughout and with more experience, this freshman team should show us some lively hockey. MARKHAM WINS 7-0 In a good end to end game on Sunday night the Novice Port Perry Auctioneers were defeated 7-0 by the Markham Rotary Club team.
