The choirs with 25 members certainly did a super job. We noted 3 new members among the Juniors and 6 visiting assistants - among the Srs: Faithful Maurice Fralick was missed as he received a physical ~ injury on Friday while using a riding mower. The music was outstand- ing. The choirs sang - He Keeps Me Singing a Happy Song. I have a peace in my heart. Get all excited and a request number - "Just a Closer Walk with Thee". It seemed as if we could have listened to Norman Watson and Irvin Gibson again and again as they sang their request duet "Because He Lives". We certainly did appreciate them bringing their talents to us. The guest speaker - Rev. McKay brought a brief but direct message based on the Scripture story of the Loaves and Fishes and the con- clusion was that christianity, when shared, grows beyond our imagination. There are people who do not wish to share anything in case there is not enough for us. About 80 people who wor- shiped in the Service, found they could not remain for the refreshments and social period. A moments silence was -observed in memory of Bob Larabee who passed away suddenly a couple of weeks' ago. Mr. and Mrs. Larabee coached the Yelverton girls team and their daughter Janet is a member of the Yelverton team. The members of the girls team were particularly: shocked and saddened to learn of his passing. The Larabees live in the Oshawa area.
