Port Juveniles get off to quick start by Don Hurst It's early in the season, so lets not get carried away over what has transpired in the early going on's in the Lakeshore hockey league's first week of play. But, lo and behold, the Emiel's Juveniles who're not expected to tear the league apart, won their season opener, at home (5-3). They tied Bay Ridges (Pickering H.A.) on Monday night (3-3). After playing two exhibi- tion games with Lindsay, winning (7-3) and tying them at home (3-3). Granted, we don't meet these two teams in the play- offs, but, it sure is a good feeling, you're holding your own. Even if its a great start in league play, it's nothing to get excited about. This was one of the better offensive and defensive games, in which a player could perform in - he should be very satisfied, in perform- ing in this standard. Last week, the Port Perry Juveniles, played the * Lindsay team in home and home games. Winning 7-3 in Lindsay and then 3-3 in Port on Thursday night.
