Seagrave area by Mrs. Shella Sears As this is the last time that I shall report the news until next year, I would like to take the opportunity. to wish everyone of you a joyous Christmas and health, happiness and prosperity in the coming year. The White Gift Service at the, Seagrave Church was well attended. The members of the Sunday School under the capable direction of Mr. Greg Smith gave a delightful presentation of '"The Littles Star," Both the senior and junior choirs heightened the musical calibre of the service with their selections. Master Ian Smith is to be congratulated on his solo presentation which he sang so beautifully. The Seagrave Christmas Concert will be held on Friday, December 18th at 7 p.m. All the children will receive gifts and it is requested that no extra presents from well meaning adults be given at this time. Best birthday wishes are extended to Lois Adams and Michelle McAskill. Rumour has it that our Sunday School Superintendent forgot his pennies for the birthday box. Tch. Tch. Next Saturday, December 12th, dear old Santa Claus is going to visit the Seagrave Store between 2 and 4 p.m. Two of Santa's elves have made it known that there will Gibbons. Congratulations are extended to Paul Wylie and Ryan Larocca who played in an all star hockey tourn- ament at Bradford over the weekend. Paul and Ryan each won most valuable player awards. Ryan, who plays goal, won for his per- formance during the third game and Paul, a defence- man, won for his proficiency during the last game. Their team was the winner of the tournament. It was a lovely service and they are to be congratulated. This coming Sunday, service will be at Epsom Church at 11:00 a.m. The Christmas Concert will be held at Epsom, Sunday evening at 7, and everyone is welcome.
