8 -- PORT PERRY STAR -- Wed., December 16, 1931 Car leaves road and plunges through ice Driver escapes with no injuries Twenty year old Edwin Albrecht of Little Britain would just as soon forget all about last Friday morning. He was driving east of Regional Road 57 near the intersection of Highway 7A at the Blackstock corners when he lost control and his car went down an embank- ment and through the ice into 15 feet of cold water in a pond on private property.
