The Borelians, Port Perry's Community Theatre Group, are deep into their Spring production of "BUSY- BODY," an English comedy by Jack Popplewell. Directed by David Millar of Oshawa "BUSYBODY" is the type of comical British whodunit that appeals to everyone's sense of humour! "BUSYBODY" marks the emergence of the Borelians as a full-fledged community service organization. One of the six performances, April 29th is free to the elderly, shut-ins and mentally handi- capped. The Thursday May 6th performance is a thank- you to the other community service organizations. Specially priced tickets will be available to members of all Scugog area service clubs in recognition of their own community service work. The traditional Dinner Theatre night, May 1st, as well as a new concept -- Cast Party Night, May 8th, where the entire audience is invited to join the cast and crew for their famous closing night party onstage -- are creating quite a stir! Producer Dolores Victor notes that while tickets to all per- formances will be available as of April 4th from the Port Perry Star, Irwin Smith Music and Sunday after- noons in the Town Hall Box Office, advance reservations by telephone are already heavy. Girls needed to compete in Bulb Festival contest Pretty girls from Durham region are being sought to compete in the first annual Bulb Festival Queen competition to be held April 24th and May 1st. He scored ten goals on route to the championship. He was named M.V.P. in the final game, as well as re-- ceiving a trophy for being the player judged to have the best hockey ability combined with scholastic achievement (83 per cent ave.) As most people connected' with minor hockey in Port Perry would have guessed by now, the player in question is Donny Young. He played his Pee Wee and Bantam hockey for Port Perry before moving on. Watching Donny play hockey over the last six years has been enjoyable to say the least. I'm glad I got to know him as well as I have, as he is an outstanding gentleman on and off the ice.
