This event probably turned into a sticky sit- uation. } Mr. Roy Smith, formerly of our area, was travelling on the 12th concession near the Beaver Pond to the west and back of Puckrin's farm. At this point, he saw a pair of white whistling swans, a pair of mallard ducks, and a pair of kingfishers. Glancing north, he also saw a pair of blue heron. For anyone interested in nature, that sounds like the place to head for with your camera. Mr. Smith says there are lit- erally hundreds of robins in Port Perry, so spring weather can't be too far away! Thanks so much to every- one who called in with their news.
