They enjoyed dinner afterwards at the Organ Grinder. Chairman Mike Dearborn presided for the business of the evening. Secretary Sharon Stapleton reported that 120 young people have registered for the coming baseball season. Two more registrations held for boys and girls 7-15 years old on April 14th - Blackstock Rec Centre; April 15th Nestleton Community Hall - 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. both evenings. Plans were made for the Baseball Dance to be held on April 24th at Nestleton Hall. For tickets call Mike at 986-4664. A surprise Bon-Voyage Party was held on Sat. evening in honour of Howard Bailey who will be leaving soon for a three months exchange to Germany. This party which was: held by his Grade 12 friends and other friends was held at the home of Lynn McDiarmid, Nestle- ton. His friends presented Howard with a travel alarm clock and many good wishes for an enjoyable exchange. St. John's A.C.W. will meet on Thursday, April 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall for a quilting meeting. Note the change of date. New members are welcome. John_and Mary Ellen Lawrence and family moved from their Blackstock home to an apartment in Port Perry on Saturday. John's many friends will be pleased to know that John is pro- gressing very well at River- dale Hospital and has been chosen to continue his reha- bilitation treatment at Mount Sinai Hospital.
