There seemed to be items for everyone. Some expressed their opinions as a very enjoyable time. Even, the shower did not delay the proceedings when all moved inside. Samells enjoyed a family picnic in Parry Sound when about 200 of Camie's relatives gathered from as far away as British Columbia. Well, the flagnappers have been at it again and made a second call at one home. We just wonder what is their purpose. One of these days, they'll try it once too often. Linda and Bill Samells with friends spent the week end at the Samells cottage at Gull Lake. On Sunday there was a very enjoyable service at the Island United Church when a string quartette accompanied on piano and organ played many selections and accompanied the hymns with their lovely music. We certainly appreciate their extra time closed. We thank those who have sent their August donations in already. Miss Beatrice McLean conducted the Service based on "The Courage of Con- viction and Consecration" and described the times that Jesus showed great courage. Courage calls forth the best in a person.
