The Port Perry group was part of about 175 nursing home residents who attended the picnic which was the kick-off for the annual Heart Fund Jamboree in Ontario. Last year, 355 nursing homes in Ontario participated in the Jamboree, and the objective this year is to raise $50,000 for the Heart Fund. Peter and Rose Kegstra and girls Laura and Karen visited Postma's on Sunday. We are pleased to learn Gord and Jill Postma's wee daughter Tricia is home from hospital and feeling better. On Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wilson, Douglas, Beth Michael and Tanya attended the Lee picnic held at Lloyd Lee's cottage at Orillia. Many of the farming community enjoyed the County's Twilight meeting and beef barbeque held last Tuesday at the farm of Robert Jibb and Sons in Sunderland. Doug, Beth, Michael, and Tanya spent Wednesday with Don and Fay Simmonds at the cottage at Port Bolster. Congratulations to P.P.H.S.
