In between, the Sort Juniors won 8-5 over Sharbot Lake to keep their hopes alive in the double knock-out event. In Port Perry's openjng game against Morrisburg, the match was close until the sixth inning when Morris- burg exploded for three runs to make the score 6-1. Tim Thompson gave up five hits and took the loss, while Port Perry managed four hits, including a solo home run in 4th by Grant Curnow.
