You will be pleasantly surprised that it offers a wide assortment of artifacts and demonstrations, almost all of which have their roots in the history of the local area. The Scugog Shores Museum was officially opened in 1969 by Bill Brock who was president of the Lake Scugog Historical Society at thdt time. Five buildings make up the museum which include the Greenbank House, Print House, Log Cabin, Beef Ring Building and Fire Shed. Each has historical signifi- cance dating between the years 1845 to 1910.
