Here comes the Borelians again! Their 1982-83 season opener is a Hospital Benefit Night on October 29th, at 8:00 P.M. in the Town Hall 1873, Port Perry. A one night extravaganza, Hospital Benefit Night is guaranteed to tickle your funnybone with "Ah, Eurydice!"', a hilarious spoof and "Hospital Havoc!"', a series of fast- paced impromptu skits based upon suggestions from the audience. "Ah, Eurydice!"', the main course of the evenings bill of fare is a modern day lark based upon a Greek Tragedy about Pluto, God of the Underworld and two star- crossed lovers, Orpheus and Eurydice. However, in this rendition Orpheus is a' slightly tuned-out musician whose all-time high was soloist with the East Yonkers Symphonic Wind Ensemble. Eurydice, his paramour is fresh from her latest triumph as 'Kindergarten Teacher of the Year" in Yonkers, New York! Enough said? Can you imagine what. the Borelians will do with this one! As if "Ah, Eurydice!" wasn't enough, "Hospital Havoc!" will finish you off as the cast shapes peals of laughter from audience suggestions for skits on hospital related situations. We all know of a few, don't we! Impromptu theatre is a very difficult medium which the Borelians perform extremely well. This will be a treat to watch! Seating at the Town Hall 1873 will be in the popular cabaret manner, with tables two to ten. The evening is being held under the auspices of the Liquor Licence Board of Ontario and refreshments will. be available. A complete sell-out is a available for parties of from -- certainty! Seating will be allocated on a first come, first served basis at the time of ticket purchase. When tables of a particular group size become sold out, parties will be requested to join together at larger tables.
