They were also defeated on Thursday, September 16 by Dunbarton 4-1, better luck next time guys. The junior boys soccer team had a little better luck: they tied with Ajax 0-0 when they were rained out. They also tied with Dunbarton 1-1 on Thursday. That old Port High spirit is already rolling. Last Friday, September 17 was our first involvement day, Hat Day. By the looks of all the 'participants, PPHS has fantastic spirit from all grades. Intramural sports are in full swing this year run by Mr. Rodway. The seniors are playing Co-ed Blind Volley ball. The junior girls and junior boys are playing Blind Volley ball as well. All you people liking October. See Mr. Sharpe for more information. PPHS has a club for every- one. The writer's club in Room 130 during activity periods starts in October, PPHS has a new Badminton Club this year. Practices are on Monday nights from 7:00 p.m. t09:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome, whether you're planning to compete or in it just for fun. PPHS has some- thing for all you music lovers too. There's a Guitar Club that will start in October, along with a Folk Society. So there really is something for everyone. Don't just stand in the crowd, get involved and be a part of a great thing, PPHS! Cedar Creek by George Kilpatrick Shirley Cummings, Mary Tremblay and George Kil- patrick have been municipal enumerating: Shirley in Cedar Creek and Mary and George in Port Perry. Ivan Farrow of South River spent Thursday night with the Rick Larocque family. George Kilpatrick visited Mr. Everard Joll and his daughter, Mrs. Margaret Rudman at Newcastle recently. Tracy Short of Uxbridge has been visiting her Uncle, Bruce Cummings and family the past few weekends. Tracy has been helping with the horses and learning to plow.
