by Doris Hill The Harvest Home Service on Sunday was well attend- ed. The beautiful display of vegetables, fruits, grains, and flowers symbolised our bountiful harvest, which we are all so very thankful for. We were happy to receive by the Sacrament of Baptism, Michael Ryan, chosen son of Marie and David Giannini and Kacey Jill, daughter of Lawrence and Bonnie Postill. It was so nice to see all their families and friends present. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Elson spent Thanksgiving weekend visiting relatives in Quebec. Doris and Harry Hill report a wonderful two week holiday when they were on a farm tour through the British Isles and Europe. We'll look forward to seeing your pictures and hearing more of this interesting tour. We were saddened to hear the death of a former resident of Greenbank. Mrs. Donna Dickson who was killed in a car accident near Arnprior. . Mr. Kevin Simmons and friend of Oshawa visited with his Grandmother, Mrs. V. Baird on Saturday evening. The ladies of the community are invited to join with. the Women's Institute on Wednesday Oct- ober 20th, when they will be taken on a tour of Mother Jackson's Open Kitchen. Please meet at the church at 1:30 for a ride. We will return to the home of Mrs. Helen Wilson for a brief business meeting and social time.
