In the absence of President Rika Wygerde, who was visiting Holland, John Kingstone 1st vice president opened the meeting and conducted the business. He then introduced Roy Turner of Blackstock who spoke to us on preparing the greenhouse for winter. He also showed a picture 6n landscaping. What a diff- erence a few shrubs and trees make to the appear- ance of a home. One should always have a plan before planting anything, then the landscaping can be done all at once or a little each year. A social time with tea, coffee and cake brought another enjoyable evening to a close. At our November 6th meeting we are having a very popular speaker- Martha Veldhires who will speak on growing Cacti and other plants. Come Out and Join Us.
