Pearce Auctioneers were defeated 1-0 by the Oshawa Bruins. The Port team just could not seem to get organized and goalie Shawn Larocque had to come up with many saves to keep the score under control. By the end of the game Oshawa had outshot Port by 18-7, but only one goal was in the net. The Auctioneers travelled to Oshawa on Sunday for an exhibition game against the Oshawa Canadiens and won 7-1. The team looked like a different group of boys than from Friday night and were back checking so well that the Canadiens were frus- trated. The Canadiens came out flying and Port's goalie Brad Moase had to come up with alot of fantastic saves throughout the game. But the Auctioneers were flying also and at the three minute mark of the first period Jody Logan passed to Jeff Parry who shot on net, then picked up his own rebound to score up his own rebound to score 5 Year Annual Interest hi APPLY TO DON FORDER lose squeaker In.an exhibition game on Port's first goal.
