Mrs. Doug MacSween held a very successful tupperware party at her home on Thurs- day afternoon with friends and neighbours in attendance. On Friday, Mrs. Rachel New executive named for 1982 At a meeting of the Scugog Ministerial Association on October 26, a new executive was appointed for the 1982- '83 season. The Rev. C. Clarke, presently part-time pastor at Manchester United Church as well as the Island United Church, is the new chairman. The Rev. A.C. Geleynse of "the Hope Christian Reformed church of Port Perry, will stay on as secretary, while the Rev. David Payne of the Port Perry Baptist Church is de- signated as hospital Chaplain. The Operation Scugog representative for 1982 is the Rev. Glenn Jack- son.of the Port Perry United Church. The pastors present re- committed themselves to the ministerial association. Utica and area news Brown and children of West Hill visited with Judy and boys and on Saturday the MacSween family visited with Mr. and Mrs, Harold Walker in Scarborough where Doug was re-united with his sister Joan MacSween who is up from P.E.L. It is so nice to see Mr. Earl Fielding home from hospital and seeing much better after eye surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hin- chcliffe of Toronto were Thursday dinner guests with Mr. and Mrs. Eric Carre and family, Belated birthday greetings to Miss Kathy Sutcliffe 16 years old and brother Peter 15 years old on October 31st. Mrs. Mildred Thompson joined with approximately 40 relatives at the home of her brother Mr. William Kirton in Newmarket on Sunday for a birthday party for her mother Mrs. Miller, who was celebrating her 82nd birth- day. Many happy returns to Mrs. Miller who is visiting with Mildred for a few days this week.
