Our hearts go out to his parents, Bill and Linda Wray and sister Leanne as well as to his grandmother, Phyllis Wray and aunt and uncle, Al and Heather Wray and to all other family members. Our thoughts and prayers are with this young family during this very sad time. Greetings for a speedy recovery are sent to Mrs. Monica Billings who for the past week has been a patient in the Oshawa General. Hope you'll soon be on the mend, Monica and back home again. It is with regret that we note the "retirement" of Mrs. Enid Belair from the 4H program. Enid has been involved with 4H for several years and has certainly con- tributed a great deal of her time and knowledge to share with the various young people she has taught over the years also her co- partner, Mrs. Elinor Nicholls who equally has spent a great deal of time with Enid to train this enthusiastic group of people. We congratulate both of these ladies on their accom- plishments. We extend our best wishes to both Gwen and Jean as they embark on this new 4H unit. This little 6 pound, 9 ounce beauty will be a little playmate for big sister, Kim- berley and little brother, Timothy. Our birthday box con- tributor this week was little Emily Smith who quietly dropped in her 8 pennies. Don and I and the boys enjoyed having dinner recently with our long-time friends, Mr. and Mrs. Mel Tindall and sons of Sandford. During the holidays the residents of No.1 Bugtussel Corners had as their guests, Mr. and Mrs. Gord Burnet and family. We are certainly going to miss Gord and Emme and family as neighbours. They recently sold their home and will be vacating their home the end of February. On Saturday evening Bert and Gertie Wanamaker along with Allen and Beth Martyn of Scugog Island enjoyed dinner at the home of their brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Martyn of Prince Albert. This happy occasion was in honour of Allen's birthday. On Sunday they were off again this time to have dinner and a visit with some good friends, Mr. and Mrs. Herb Swain of Blackstock. Mrs. Gloria Williams rec- eived word last week that her brother had passed away very suddenly. We extend our sympathy to both Gloria and Dorothy during their bereavement. We also send our best wishes to these ladies for better health soon. They both seemed to be shadowed with poor health of late and we hope that trend will soon make an upward swing for both of these nice ladies. Ladies of the U.C.W. OPEN 6 DAYS A WEEK!
