Helped by the Little Brothers of North Dur- ham, the business men and women displayed hidden softball talents when they clashed at the Uxpool diamond, under lights on Wednesday night. Many outstanding plays were executed and many muscles stretched an inch or two too far. A fun evening for the Little Brothers was the purpose of the game and fun was certainly pro- ANALDA Garden Centre vided. The Port Perry team had clown costumes for all their players. At the beginn- ing of the game, these clowns had Uxbridge completely baffled. Half way through the game, Uxbridge coach, Mayor Bill Ballinger arrived and soon had his team on their way to a win. The score was 24 to 12 as obtained from the com- puter "MC" Harry Hud- son was operating. Some treats were available after the game for all partici- pants.
