October 25, 1983 -- 15 Attendance was low but clothes were great The attendance was down but the clothes were terrific and if you missed the recent annual Fall Fashion Show, you missed out on something special. Two nights were re- served in the Port Perry High School auditorium last week, Wednesday and Thursday, which is why organizers say attendance was down over last year. "If we had of had one .night instead of two, the show would be packed," commented Joyce Taylor, president of the Hospital Auxiliary of the Community Mem- orial Hospital, the spon- sors of the show. Still, despite the half- empty room, a sizeable contribution was raised for the hospital's expansion fundraising campaign. Mrs. Taylor hasn't tallied up the exact amount yet but she expects it will be more than last year.
