Jeff Labano- vich started it for Scugog on a pass from Brett Puckrin, and by the time it was over, Brett had added 4 goals of his own with others going to Robin Hancock and Kyle Russell. Sean Larocque filled the role of playmaker setting up 3 goals. Assists also went to Rick Larocque, Jeff Labanovich and Kyle Russell. For Tripp, - John Collins and Heath Hudson scored with assists going to Greg Kyle and Noel Lovering. Swamp Garage - 4 Lake Scugog Lumber -3 Swamp Garage turn- ed things around with their first victory of the season and did it in convincing fashion by upsetting the powerful Scugog team. The scoring was well balanced, with Graham Carnegie, Mark Sheppard, Don Hughes and newcomer, Craig Leask all scoring once. Assists went to Chris McLeod, Craig Leask, Mike Hepburn, John Connel, Kevin Busher, Richie Stapleton and Andrew Sheppard. For Lake Scugog Brett Puckrin capped off an impressive week by scoring all 3 goals and giving him 7 for the week. Assists went to Jeff Labanovich and Kyle Russell. Marj Tripp -2 UAW-0 ~ David Talbot picked up his first shutout of the season in turning back UAW 2 to 0. He was supported up front by John Collins who count- ed both goals and Jeff Brett and Greg Kyle who picked up assists. In spite of the loss, 'Brian Madill continued his fine play in net for UAW. PEE WEE Lions Club-7 Scala Bros. -5 In a high scoring game with goals being . exchanged throughout all three periods, Lions Club defeated a much improved Scala team 7-5. Scoring for the Lions - Marvin Hughes - 3, Steve Diceman - 2, Adam Cummings - 2, with assists going to Hughes with 1, Cumm- ings 2 and Hughes with 3. It seems its just a matter of time for Scala to break out and start putting points in the win colour. Scoring for Scala was Shawn Phillips with 3, and singles going to Graham Sullivan and Alec Cranner. Picking up assists were Cole Perry with 1 and Sullivan with 1. Wes Lane -4 W.Frank-2 In an end to end, hard "McConnell picking up fought game it was Wes Lane coming out on top of a 4 to 2 score over Frank Real Estate. Scoring for Wes Lane, Vince Criscione with 2, Paul Turner with 1 and Scott White with 1. Picking up assists for Lane's, Mike Butt 2, Scott White 2, Pat Mul- doon 1 and Paul Turner 1. Scoring for Frank, Doug Adams 1 and John Andrews with Andrews assisting on Adam's goal and Chris the assist on Andrew's goal. BANTAM Cochrane Trotters - 8 Emmerson Insurance -0 Cochrane Trotters had no trouble handling the Insurers in this one despite being short- handed 3 players. Mike Stanley with 3 goals, Mark Elliott was just as busy as Mike with 2 goals and 2 assists. Phil McBride, Adam Brown, Derek Slack all had 1 goal each.
