Cornish On November 11th, grade 7 and 8 students participated in a Remembrance Day Service. Rob Taylor, Bob Tytler, Mark Barkey, Tricia Kindree, Taylor Price, and Mike McCabe shared some reflections about the wars of the past while slides depicting scenes from World War I and II were shown. The Last Slideshow was then shown encouraging students to strive to maintain peace in the future. Christmas plans are well underway at R.H. "Cornish. This year the choirs, band and drama club will present a Christmas Concert. for the public on December 6at7:00in the new gym. The drama production, 'Christmas Thoughts',* has a cast of students from grades 4 to 8 and uses the band as musical background. The = annual Cornish Science Fair will be held Monday, December 5th. The public is invited to come and view the projects of R.H. Cornish's science ouffs from 7:00 to 9:30 am. The annual R.H. Cornish Intermediate Girls' Volleyball Tour- nament was held on Saturday, November 19th with 16 teams participating. Altough our girls. were not successful, they did learn a lot from the experience.
