Congratulations to the Cochrane Trotters in the Championship win on Sunday morning over a stubborn Emmerson's Club. The Trotters got to the final by defeating IGA 1-0 in a hectic and well played game which was brought right to the end. An early goal by Chris Watson with no help put the Trotters in this final with IGA to be congratulated for a fine effort. In the third period, both teams broke loose from the barrier and we saw a hard checking, passing and some close encounters around the net. Mike Stanley finally scored to tie it up with help from 'The Bird" Venning and Elliott.
