Nighswander hosted our May meeting where a very interesting and informative talk about the history of the computer was given by Mrs. J. Davis. The computer started out as the abacus, then it was developed into a 2-digit binery code system. One of the mer responsible for the development of the com- puter was Herman Halerith in 1890. During the period before the war, the com- pany known as IBM was started. The computer was used during the war, lone hands. Euchres will be held until the end of July, then close down for August.
