Good luck guys. Andrew Petrie had the misfortune to fall while preparing the Analda display at the fair on Friday morning and ended up in Oshawa Hospital for the week- end with a badly broken arm. What a way to spend Fair weekend when he had so many plans to keep him busy. Our wishes for a speedy recovery go to you, Andrews. Ian Wallace of Lady- bank, Scotland, arrived on Sunday to spend three weeks with his cousins, David and Kathleen Petrie, Allan, Andrew and David. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Thompson hosted a wine and cheese party in honour of the Liberal Candidate Darce Camp- bell and his wife, Carol, Wednesday night. Well Kapeling along with Jim Kleopher and President Francine Newton visit- ed the gathering. Darce spoke answered several questions to the interest- ed group. The Hoskin Stable Musical Ride was a popular attraction at the Blackstock Fair. Nearly 20 beautiful horses trotted in in- teresting patterns in the grandstand area to sweet sounds of music. If you missed the ride in Blackstock, you can catch it at the Port Perry Fair, coming up this weekend.
