This is the highest award in Girl Guides. Her grand- parents Mr. and Mrs. Norman Holmes of Toronto visited for the occasion. At 9:30 a.m. the York Presbyterial meeting will be held in Melville United Church and at 8 p.m. the regular November meeting will be held at the home of Elizabeth Taylor at Epsom. There will be a euchre in Utica Hall this Friday at 8 p.m. Sincere sympathy from the community to the Jack Skelding family in the recent passing of Nancy's father, Mr. William Lake of Newcastle. Mrs. Eva Sutcliffe is spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs. C. Brockman and children in Courtice. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Slute of Raglan were Saturday supper guests with Lorne and Eileen Slute.
