The bride, wearing her mother's wedding gown, was given in marriage by her brother Todd. The maid-of-honour was Tracey Menzies and the grooms- man was Mike Mole, both friends of the bride and groom. A small family reception was held at the home of Gloria and Don Forder, aunt and uncle of the bride. The newlyweds are residing in Port Perry. Epsom Area News By Jean Jeffery The session of the Epsom Utica Congreg- ation have decided to have a "Get-Together Evening' Friday, Nov- ember 23 at 7:30 p.m. in Utica Church, Sunday School rooms. A pot luck dinner will be a high- light followed by a 'Pot Luck' assortment of games. So bring your favourite one along. Everyone is welcome. Come and bring a friend. November 27 will be the evening which will decided if we will have a Block Parent Assoc- iation. Everyone welcome. Congratulations to Armour McMillan who was one of six township residents to be awarded a Bicentennial medal for his outstanding service to the commun- ity. The presentation will be made on Dec- ember 9th. The Christmas UCW meeting will be held on Tues. December 4th with a pot luck lunch at noon followed by a Christmas program. Bicentennial will be the theme for the Women's Institute meeting on Wed. at 2 p.m. at the home of Iva Phoenix. Mr. and Mrs. Armour McMillan attended the wedding anniversary party for Mr. and Mrs. Frank Moore in Ux- bridge on Sat. Della taught school in Green- bank for a number of . years and Frank was a local resident near Saintfield. So we send our congratulations Frank and Della. Mrs. Iva Till and Don moved to their new home in Oshawa on Sat. We will miss you but am sure you will enjoy your home in the city and our best wishes go with you. Mrs. Mildred Thomson spent a few days last week with her sister, Mary Forfar in Agincourt. Mrs. Helen McKean and Rachel McMillan enjoyed the Rug Braid- ing Course last week and will be teaching this course in January. If you are interested phone 985-2944 or 985- 2924.
