Winnifred voiced the appreciation. Nestleton United Church A fine congregation at the Sunday morning ser- vice at Nestleton United. ° Greeters at the door were: David Malcolm and sons- Kingsley and Joshua. The worship opened with our student minister Elaine Barber in the pulpit. Rev. Dale Davis assisted by Clerk of Session Lawrence Malcolm conducted the impressive ceremony of baptism- when Scott Adam and Carleton Loyal, sons of Cliff and Chris Davis and Krista Ann daughter of Carl and Dale Muirhead were baptized. Sponsors Dana Tapscott (Dale's sister) and George Warman stood with the Muirheads during the ceremony. Many relatives and friends of both families were present for the oc- casion. A warm welcome to the children into our Church family. The minister's message was taken from Mark 10: 13-16 and John 15: 12-17, entitled "The Chosen" very meaningful for the special service. An an- them was sung by the choir- Gwen Malcolm, organist. After Krista Ann Muirhead was baptized on Sunday at Nestleton United Church, November 18th, 1984, Carl, Dale, Chad and Krista hosted a buffet lunch for approximately thirty relatives and friends. A fine get- together for this mean- ingful occasion. Happy Event Very pleased to hear that David and Joanna Malcolm of Nestleton, are the proud parents of a baby girl- a little sister for Kingsley, Joshua and Nicholas. Our warmest congratulations and best wishes from the area. Minor crashes As might be expected, that first touch of winter which hit Scugog Town- ship last Friday evening created tough driving conditions, and Durham Police report four minor accidents in the munici- pality. Police say all four were the result of icy road conditions, but for- tunately there were no fatalities or serious injuries.
