Like the two teams above, the Gas Works and Emmersons played to a 5-5 draw, but last week Consumers eked out a win in the last minute of play -- and this week, Emmerson tied it with just fifteen seconds left in the game. So you see The Stone Real Estate Pee Wee B's lost 5-2 to Thornhill on Sunday, Nov. 18th. Even though Port had several chances on the power play they were unable to catch the Thornhil team. Stone played hard with Troy McCully assisted by Brett Puck- rin getting the first goal for Port. Brett Puckrin on a powerplay, moving from his usual defense position to forward earned an unassisted goal. Good goal tending by David Buxcey and David Talbot was a credit to the team. The Oshawa Bruins were the Stone opposi- tion at an Exhibition game in Port Perry on Thursday. November 22. The Pee Wee B's folks, the good is on Saturday morning. Jamie (Hydro) Mab- ley with two goals and an assist was the marks- men for Emmerson while David Irvine and John Nottingham, Darcy Head along with Peter Brock's goal tied it at 5-5. Nottingham, Irvine and Mabley had the assists. Two players on Plenty of chances for Pee Wee B's played good hard fast hockey during the 1st and 2nd periods but couldn't put one in the net. In the 3rd period Port laid back slightly allowing the visitors to score twice. The game ended 2-0 for Oshawa. Saturday November 24th saw the Pee Wee B's participate in their first tournament of the season. In the first game, Port defeated Bolton 4-0. The entire team played extremely well during this contest skating hard and dis- playing some excellent passing plays. Brett Puckrin picked up the first goal from the point assisted by Troy McCully. John Ennis scored the next three goals earning a well deserved hat trick and the assist going to the Gas Works gave their all by scoring twice, Mike Griffin and Darryl Bradt, while Kip Roane had a single. . Assists going to Bradt. Today we had some close checking - hard skating and fast action in both games and still first place and last place teams remain four points different. In the second game Port Perry played against Travestock with the score ending 4-1 in Travestock's favour. The team played well with David Talbot between the pipes but were unable to contain the opposition who pick- ed up two goals in the first period and two in the second leaving Port down 4-0 at the beginn- ing of the 3rd. John Ennis picked up his fourth goal of the day on a passing play from Adam Cummings and Graham Sullivan.
